What should I expect during the procedure?

During microneedling at Nuxe Med Spa, you relax in a comfortable, reclining chair. Your provider numbs the treatment area and uses a handheld microneedling device to make tiny microtears in your skin to stimulate new cell generation. They also exfoliate treated skin and infuse nutrients into it, all in one treatment.

Your specialist might use platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is plasma they obtain from your own blood, to enhance healing and cell regeneration. They take a sample of blood from a vein in your arm, spin it in a centrifuge to extract PRP from the rest of the blood, and apply it to your face topically. They can also inject PRP into the site of treatment.

What happens after microneedling?
